It seemed like Christmas just flew by this year, but we had a wonderful time together. Becca was sick with strep throat, so Christmas day was pretty quiet, but very enjoyable!
On Christmas morning, we read the Christmas story, and then opened gifts... This was Paul's first Christmas, and he didn't really know what to do as far as opening the presents. He was really cute!
Paul is "driving" the firetruck that "Uncle Paul" brought to his birthday party!!! The kids had so much fun getting on the firetruck and playing... Paul was fascinated with the flashing lights as well!
Here Paul, and Daddy and Cordell (Paul's cousin) are playing football guess...
And then it was time for the piñata.... I had made the piñata, and it was a pull string piñata,
but the strings didn't work very well, so Tim ended up shaking all the candy out :)
But the kids loved it just the same!!!
Here is Paul's firetruck birthday cake... i forgot to get a picture of it before he dug in...
He got so incredibly dirty, and looked too adorable!!!
For the other cake, i made a dalmation cake, but it got cut too before i got a picture...oh well..
Excuse the shirtless baby... we didn't want him getting red icing all over his shirt!!!
As you can tell, icing was everywhere, including the wall and couch across the room!
Here was Paul the day he was born!! What joy he has brought into our lives!!!
We are so thankful for him!!! God is so good!
Ready to take him home from the hospital!!! A very special moment!!
